Follow these steps carefully to build your K'NEX Monster Jam Air Force Afterburner truck. Refer to the included visual instructions on the product packaging for detailed diagrams.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all K'NEX parts from the packaging. Separate the different types of rods and connectors for easier access.
  2. Assemble Suspension System: Begin by constructing the working suspension for the front and rear axles. This typically involves connecting flexible rods and specialized connectors to create the spring-like action. Refer to the diagrams on the back of the box (Figure 3.1) for the specific sequence of connections for the suspension components.
  3. Batanidza Mavhiri: Once the suspension is built, securely attach the large monster truck wheels to the axle ends. Ensure they spin freely.
  4. Build Truck Chassis and Body: Construct the main frame and body of the truck using the remaining rods and connectors. Pay attention to the color-coded instructions if provided, or match the shapes shown in the diagrams.
  5. Install K'NEXman Driver: Place the K'NEXman driver figure into the designated driver's seat within the truck's cabin.
  6. Macheki ekupedzisira: Ensure all connections are secure and the wheels turn smoothly. Test the suspension by gently pressing down on the truck.

5. Operating Instructions

Once assembled, your K'NEX Monster Jam Air Force Afterburner truck is ready for play.

  • Driving the Truck: Push the truck along flat surfaces. The working suspension allows for realistic movement over small obstacles.
  • Kushandisa Ramp: The product box is designed to convert into a ramp. Position the ramp and drive the truck over it for jump action.
  • K'NEXman Interaction: The K'NEXman driver can be removed and placed in other K'NEX vehicles or playsets.
