Operating Instruction

Follow these steps for proper crimping of EZ-RJ45 Cat 5e/6 modular plugs:

  1. Gadzirira Cable: Strip the outer jacket of the network cable to the appropriate length, typically about 1/2 to 3/4 inch (12-19 mm), exposing the twisted pairs. Be careful not to nick the inner wire insulation.
  2. Ronga Waya: Untwist the wire pairs and arrange them according to the desired wiring standard (e.g., T568A or T568B). Ensure the wires are straight and parallel.
  3. Insert Wires into Plug: Carefully insert the arranged wires into the EZ-RJ45 modular plug. The design of EZ-RJ45 plugs allows the wires to pass completely through the front of the connector. Ensure each wire is fully seated and extends slightly beyond the front of the plug.

  5. Crimp Chinobatanidza: Firmly squeeze the handles of the crimp tool together until they fully close. The tool will simultaneously crimp the pins into the wires and trim the excess wires extending from the front of the plug.
  6. Bvisa uye Ongorora: Release the handles and remove the crimped connector. Inspect the termination to ensure all pins are properly seated, the wires are trimmed flush, and the cable jacket is securely crimped under the strain relief tab.
