UV Clarifier Operation:

The integrated UV clarifier helps eliminate green water algae. The control panel allows you to adjust the UV bulb's operating time to conserve energy and extend bulb life.

• UV Time Settings: Use the 'Select UV Time' button to choose between 6, 12, or 24 hours of UV operation per day. This feature helps optimize bulb life and energy consumption.
• UV Clarifying Indicator: A blue LED light indicates when the UV clarifier is active.

Maintenance

The UltraKlean filter features a convenient self-cleaning backwash system, eliminating the need to open the filter for routine cleaning.

Backwash Cleaning Procedure:

1. Monitor Clean Indicator: The control panel includes a 'Clean' indicator light (red/yellow LED) that signals when it's time to perform a backwash.
2. Initiate Backwash: Turn the knob at the top of the filter to the "CLEAN" setting. This reverses the water flow and agitates the biological media, dislodging trapped debris.
3. Discharge Waste: Dirty water will be expelled through the backwash discharge hose. Continue until the water runs clear.
4. Reset Sefa: Turn the knob back to the "FILTER" setting. Press the 'Reset Clean' button on the control panel to reset the indicator.
