4. Setup

4.1 Kuchaja Chishandiso

  1. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the DC 5V port on the side of the radio (refer to Figure 2).

  3. The LED indicator will illuminate during charging. Charging typically takes 2-3 hours.

4.2 Inserting a TF Card (Optional)

  1. Locate the TF card slot on the side of the device (refer to Figure 3).
  2. Gently insert a TF card (up to 32GB, not included) into the slot with the metal contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently push the card inward until it clicks, then release, and it will eject.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Simba On/Kudzima

Slide the ON/OFF switch, located on the top side of the device (refer to Figure 4), to the 'ON' position to power on the radio. Slide it to 'OFF' to power off.

5.2 Mode Sarudzo

Press the MODE button (refer to Figure 1) to switch between available modes: FM Radio, AM Radio, USB Playback, and TF Card Playback. The current mode will be indicated on the digital display.

5.3 Kushanda kweRedhiyo (AM/FM)

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna for better reception (refer to Figure 4).
  2. Switch to FM or AM mode using the MODE bhatani.
  3. Automatic Scan: Dzvanya uye ubate iyo Tamba/Misa button (often labeled with a play/pause symbol or '5' on the keypad) to automatically scan and save available stations.
  4. Chinyorwa Kugadziridza: Shandisa iyo Previous Track (K◀) uye Next Track (►K) buttons to fine-tune frequencies or navigate through saved stations.
  5. Kupinda Kwakananga Kwenguva Dzose: In radio mode, you can directly enter a frequency using the numeric keypad (0-9) and then press the Tamba/Misa button to confirm. For example, for 102.5 FM, enter '1025'.

5.4 USB/TF Kadhi Kutamba

Ensure a USB drive or TF card with audio files (MP3 format recommended) is inserted.

  1. Switch to USB or TF card mode using the MODE bhatani.
  2. The device will automatically start playing the first track.
