3. Setup

The Femometer Digital Thermometer comes with one LR41 battery pre-installed. If the battery needs replacement, follow these steps:

  1. Gently slide off the battery cover located at the end of the thermometer.
  2. Remove the old LR41 battery.
  3. Insert a new LR41 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.

4. Operating Instructions

4.2. Measurement Methods

  • Kushandisa Nemuromo: Place the tip of the thermometer under the tongue. Close your mouth and hold the thermometer in place.

  • Rectal Use: Lubricate the tip with a water-soluble jelly. Gently insert the tip into the rectum (approximately 0.5 inches for infants). This method is generally recommended for infants and young children.

  • Underarm (Axillary) Shandisa: Place the tip of the thermometer in the armpit, ensuring good skin contact. Hold the arm firmly against the body. This method may provide less accurate readings than oral or rectal methods.
