5. Setup

6.1 Selecting Speed

• Rotate the torque adjustment collar to select one of the 18 torque settings or the drill mode.

• Medium settings (6-12) are for medium screws or materials.
• Higher settings (13-18) are for larger screws or harder materials.
• The drill symbol setting is for drilling applications, providing maximum torque without clutch disengagement.

6.3 Kushanda Kwemberi/Kudzokera Kumashure

• Push the forward/reverse switch to the left for forward rotation (drilling/driving screws).
• Push the forward/reverse switch to the right for reverse rotation (removing screws/backing out bits).
• Center the switch to lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting.

6.4 Drilling and Driving

• Kutanga: Place the tip of the bit or screw on the workpiece. Slowly press the variable speed trigger to start the drill.
• Controlling Speed: Increase pressure on the trigger to increase speed. Release pressure to decrease speed.
