- Prepare the Template: Use the self-adhesive stickers on the back of the provided template to position it on the desired wall location. The template is the same size as the unit, allowing you to visualize its placement.
- Mark Drill Locations: Identify the correct mounting holes on the template based on your desired orientation (vertical or horizontal). Use a screw from the kit and a hammer to lightly mark the exact drill locations through the template onto the wall.
- Drill Holes: Remove the template. Drill four holes at the marked locations.
- Isa Wall Anchors: Hammer the supplied wall anchors into the drilled holes.
- Insert Screws: Screw the supplied screws into the anchors, ensuring they protrude approximately 15mm (19/32") from the wall.
- Attach Felt Pads: Peel the backing off the four felt pads included in the hardware kit. Place these pads onto the mounting bases on the back of the heater, aligning them with the cross-hatch. This prevents scratching the wall.
- Mount the Heater: With assistance, carefully lift the heater and align the slots on its back with the protruding screws. Slide the heater down to secure it in place.
- Batanidza Simba: Remove the plastic cover from the 9-foot power cord and plug it into a nearby outlet. For a hardwired installation, a licensed electrician should connect the unit directly to your electrical system.
