4. Setup uye Kuiswa

The Thermex IF 80 H Comfort is designed for horizontal wall mounting. Professional installation by a certified plumber and electrician is strongly recommended to ensure safety and compliance with all local codes.

  1. Sarudzo Yenzvimbo: Choose a suitable wall location that can support the weight of the water heater when full (approximately 92 kg). Ensure adequate space for maintenance and access to controls.
  2. Kukwidza: Use the provided high-performance wall anchors to securely mount the water heater horizontally. Refer to the mounting template (if included) for precise drilling locations.
  3. Plumbing Connections: Connect the cold water inlet and hot water outlet pipes. Install the supplied inlet combination (pressure relief valve and non-return valve) on the cold water inlet. Ensure all connections are watertight.
  4. Kubatanidza Magetsi: Connect the water heater to a dedicated 230V electrical circuit. Ensure proper grounding. This step must be performed by a qualified electrician.
  5. Kuzadza Tangi: Before powering on, open a hot water tap in your home and allow the water heater to fill completely until water flows steadily from the tap. Close the tap.

5. Operating Instructions

The water heater is controlled via the digital LCD display and three buttons.

Basic Operation:
