User Manual: Generic Replacement Voice TV Remote Control AN-MR19BA

Compatible with LG W8, E8, C8, B8 OLED Smart TVs

This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new Generic Replacement Voice TV Remote Control, model AN-MR19BA. This remote is designed to be compatible with various LG OLED Smart TV models, including W8, E8, C8, and B8 series. Please read these instructions carefully before use to ensure proper functionality.

3. Setup

To power your remote control, you will need two (2) 1.5V AA alkaline batteries (not included).

3.2 Pairing the Magic Remote with Your TV

Before using the Magic Remote, it must be paired with your LG Smart TV.

  1. Ensure batteries are correctly installed in the Magic Remote and turn on your LG TV.

  3. Press the Wheel (Zvakanaka) button located in the center of the remote control.

If the TV fails to register the Magic Remote, turn the TV off and then back on, and repeat the pairing steps.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Deregistering (Unpairing) the Magic Remote

To unpair the Magic Remote from your TV:

  • Dzvanya uye ubate iyo MUSHA (Chiratidzo chebhatani repamba) uye BACK (Chiratidzo chebhatani rekumashure) buttons simultaneously for five seconds. This will unpair the remote from your TV.
  • Alternatively, pressing and holding the GUIDE button will allow you to cancel and re-register the Magic Remote at once.

4.2 Using the Pointer Function

The Magic Remote features a pointer function for intuitive navigation.

  • To make the pointer appear on the screen, gently shake the Magic Remote to the right and left, or press the MUSHA (Chiratidzo chebhatani repamba), INPUT (Input button icon), kana Q. Zvirongwa (Chiratidzo chebhatani rezvigadziriso) mabhatani.
  • On some TV models, the pointer may appear when you turn the Wheel (Zvakanaka) bhatani.
  • If the pointer has not been used for a certain period or if the Magic Remote is placed on a flat surface, the pointer will disappear.
  • If the pointer is not responding smoothly, you can reset it by moving it to the edge of the screen.
  • Due to its additional features, the Magic Remote may deplete batteries faster than a normal remote.

4.3 Kudzora Izwi

This remote supports voice control functionality. Once paired, you can use voice commands to interact with your LG Smart TV. Refer to your TV's user manual for specific voice command instructions.

5. Kuchengeta

When the remote's performance degrades or it stops responding, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 3.1.

  • Remote fails to register (pair) with the TV:
    Ensure batteries are fresh and correctly inserted. Turn the TV off and then back on, then attempt the pairing process again (Section 3.2). Make sure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV.
  • Pointer not appearing or responding:
    Shake the remote gently or press the HOME, INPUT, or Q. Settings buttons to activate the pointer. If it's still unresponsive, try moving the pointer to the edge of the screen to reset it. Check battery levels.
  • Mabhatani haapindure:
    Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the remote is pointed directly at the TV.
