4. Setup

Place the two satellite speakers on a stable, flat surface, typically on either side of your computer monitor or television for optimal stereo sound. Ensure adequate space for air circulation around the speakers.

4.2 Simba Connection

  1. Locate the integrated USB cable from the control pod.
  2. Connect the USB cable to an available USB 3.0 port on your computer, laptop, or a compatible 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included). The speakers are USB powered and do not contain an internal battery.
  3. The speakers will power on automatically once connected to a power source.

4.3 Audio Connection

The speakers support three audio input methods: Bluetooth, USB Audio, and 3.5mm AUX IN.

4.3.1 Bluetooth Connection

  2. Press the Source button on the control pod until the Bluetooth indicator light (if present) is active or you hear an audible prompt for Bluetooth pairing.

  3. You may need to select "Amazon Basics Speakers" as the default audio output in your computer's sound settings.
  4. Note: USB ports on some TVs may not support audio transmission. Consult your TV's manual for compatibility.

4.3.3 3.5mm AUX Input Connection

  1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from your audio device's headphone jack or audio output to the AUX IN port on the control pod.
  2. Press the Source button on the control pod until the AUX input mode is selected.
  3. Adjust the volume on both your audio device and the speaker control pod.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Simba On/Kudzima

The speakers power on automatically when the USB cable is connected to a power source. To power off the speakers, simply unplug the USB cable from the power source.
