Thank you for choosing the TOWODE Home Security System. This system provides comprehensive protection for your home, office, apartment, business, or factory. It operates on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection and offers remote control via the Tuya App on Android and iOS devices. The system includes a door/window alarm sensor, a remote controller, a Wi-Fi loudspeaker siren, and a power plug. It is designed for easy installation and can be expanded with additional sensors.

2. Safety Information

4. Chigadzirwa Pamusoroview

4.1. Wi-Fi Loudspeaker Siren

The siren is the central unit of your security system. It emits a loud 110 dB alarm when triggered and connects to your home Wi-Fi network for app control and notifications. It is designed to be weatherproof for indoor or outdoor use.

4.2. Door/Window Alarm Sensor

This two-part sensor detects when a door or window is opened. When triggered, it sends a signal to the siren, activating the alarm and sending a notification to your smartphone.

4.3. Remote Controller

The remote controller allows you to arm, disarm, set home mode, or trigger an SOS alarm with the press of a button.

5. Setup

5.1. Powering On the Siren

  1. Connect the power plug to the Wi-Fi loudspeaker siren.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The siren will power on.

5.2. Kuiswa kweApp

5.3. Network Configuration (Wi-Fi Loudspeaker Siren)

Before configuring the network, ensure:

  • Your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. The alarm horn is not compatible with 5G Wi-Fi.
  • Bluetooth inogoneswa pane yako smartphone.
  • Location services are enabled for the Tuya Smart app in your phone's privacy settings.
  1. Open the Tuya Smart app and log in or register.
  2. On the app's home screen, tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
  3. Long press the [SET Key] on the Wi-Fi loudspeaker siren for 3 seconds until it sounds, indicating it has entered network configuration mode.
  4. The app will scan for nearby devices using Bluetooth. Once the "WiFi loudspeakers" device is found, tap "Add".
  5. Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network name and password when prompted.

5.4. Installing Door/Window Sensors

  1. Ensure the door/window sensor has its 23A 12V battery installed.
  2. Identify a suitable location on your door or window frame. The two parts of the sensor must be aligned and within 1 cm of each other when the door/window is closed.

  4. Attach the larger part (transmitter) to the fixed frame and the smaller part (magnet) to the moving part of the door/window using the provided double-sided adhesive tape.
  5. Test the sensor by opening and closing the door/window to ensure proper alignment.

6. Kushandisa System

You can arm or disarm your security system using the Tuya Smart app or the remote controller.

  • Away Arm: All sensors are monitored. Ideal when no one is home.
  • Imba Ruoko: Only specific sensors (e.g., perimeter sensors) are monitored, allowing movement within the home.
  • Kubvisa zvombo: All sensors are disabled.

6.2. Alarm Notifications

When a sensor is triggered, the 110 dB siren will sound, and you will receive instant notifications on your smartphone via the Tuya Smart app.

6.3. Kudzora Izwi (Alexa & Google Mubatsiri)

The system is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing you to arm, disarm, or set home mode using voice commands.

7. Expanding Your System

The TOWODE security system is scalable, supporting up to 50 remote controls and 50 additional sensors. These can include motion sensors, water leakage sensors, and smoke sensors (Wireless Frequency: 433MHz, Wireless Code: eV1527).

8. Kuchengeta

8.1. Battery Replacement (Door/Window Sensor)

The door/window sensor is powered by a 23A 12V battery. When the low voltage indicator light on the sensor illuminates, it is time to replace the battery.

  3. Insert a new 23A 12V battery, ensuring correct polarity.
