Adjustable Clamp Design
The SmallRig 4411 matte box features an adjustable clip-on design with a clamp range of 67-82mm (2.6" to 3.2"). This design ensures broad compatibility with various mirrorless and cinema lenses. Cherechedza: Remove any UV filter from the front of the lens before attaching the matte box.

Quick-Release Design
This matte box incorporates a three-point locking system for quick assembly and disassembly. Simply press the push rods on the sides of the clamp and the locking knob on top to secure or release the unit. Zvakakosha: Do not operate the matte box without the top knob securely locked.

Versatile Filter Set
The kit includes a filter set with magnetic attachment for seamless combination, offering dual CPL and VND filter functionality. The VND filter provides an adjustable range of 2-5 stops, featuring hard stop limits and light transmission control technology to eliminate crosshatching. The slim design prevents vignetting when the focal length is ≥16mm (for full-frame cameras and lenses). Cherechedza: This matte box is not compatible with 4 x 4" slide-in filters.

CPL Filter Functionality
CPL filters reduce glare and enhance clarity, improving color saturation and contrast. CPL1 can be used in combination with CPL2/CPL3 to form VND. CPL filters are directional; install them with the product information side of the logo facing outwards.

VND Filter Functionality
VND filters regulate light intake and maintain exposure balance, allowing for creative control over shutter speed and aperture in bright conditions. Ensure the alignment point is within the VND gear line when combining CPL filters for VND functionality.

Lens Kuenderana
The matte box is compatible with a wide range of lenses. However, it cannot be installed if the external diameter of a mirrorless lens is greater than 88mm or a cinema lens is greater than 85mm.

Setup Instructions
- Prepare Your Lens: Before attaching the matte box, ensure that any existing UV filter is removed from the front of your camera lens.
- Attach the Matte Box: Align the matte box clamp with your lens. Press the push rods on the sides of the clamp to open it, then position it over the lens. Release the push rods to secure the clamp around the lens.
- Secure the Locking Knob: Once the matte box is clamped onto the lens, firmly tighten the top locking knob to ensure a secure, three-point lock. Operating the matte box without this knob securely locked can lead to instability.
- Isa Mafirita: The CPL and VND filters feature magnetic attachment. Simply align the desired filter with the matte box slot and it will snap into place. Ensure CPL filters are installed with the product information side facing outwards.
- Attach Lens Hood and Top Flag: Slide the lens hood onto the front of the matte box. Attach the top flag to the designated slot on the lens hood. Adjust the top flag angle as needed to block unwanted light.
Operating Instruction
Adjusting Filters
- Mafirita eCPL: Rotate the CPL filter within its magnetic mount to achieve the desired polarization effect, reducing reflections and enhancing colors.
- VND Filters: If using a VND combination (CPL1 with CPL2/CPL3), rotate the outer ring to adjust the variable neutral density from 2 to 5 stops. Ensure the alignment point is within the VND gear line for proper function.
Using the Top Flag
The top flag can be adjusted to block stray light from entering the lens, preventing lens flare and ghosting. Loosen the locking screw on the side of the top flag, adjust its angle, and then re-tighten the screw to secure its position.
Maintenance
- Kuchenesa: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the matte box body. For filters, use a specialized lens cleaning solution and microfiber cloth to avoid scratches.
