Note: This is a partial system. A furnace or modular blower is required to complete the system and provide air circulation and heating capabilities (if applicable).

4. Setup & Installation

Installation of this HVAC system must be performed by a qualified, licensed HVAC professional. Incorrect installation can lead to system malfunction, safety hazards, and void the warranty.

Please note that federal regulations specify minimum SEER2 ratings based on geographic region. This system does not comply with federal regulations for installation in the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, DE, FL, GA, KY, LA, MD, MS, NC, NM, NV, OK, SC, TN, TX, and VA.

4.3. R-32 Refrigerant

This system uses R-32 refrigerant. R-32 is a more energy-efficient refrigerant with a lower global warming impact compared to older refrigerants. It is mildly flammable, requiring specific installation and servicing protocols. If this system is paired with a furnace, an R-32 leak detection system is required to ensure safe operation by turning off the furnace burner in case of a refrigerant leak.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed by a qualified technician, your Goodman AC system will operate to provide cooling. The system is controlled via your home's thermostat. Set your desired temperature, and the system will cycle on and off to maintain it.

• Kutonhodza Mode: Select 'Cool' on your thermostat and set the desired temperature. The system will activate to cool your home.
• Feni Kushanda: The fan can be set to 'Auto' (runs only when cooling) or 'On' (runs continuously for air circulation).
