Setup Instructions

  1. Assemble the Light Stand:

    Extend the legs of the light stand to a stable position. Adjust the height using the locking knobs. Ensure all sections are securely tightened.

  2. Batanidza iyo LED Panel:

    Mount the K80 LED video light onto the top of the light stand. Secure it using the stand fixing knob on the U-bracket of the light panel. Adjust the rotation knob to set the desired angle.

  3. Power Connection:
    • AC Power (Indoor Use): Connect the power adapter to the DC port on the LED light and then plug it into a wall outlet.
    • Battery Power (Outdoor Use): Insert two compatible NP-F series batteries (e.g., NP-F950 or higher, not included) into the battery slots on the back of the light panel.

Operating Instruction

1. Simba On / Off

Locate the ON/OFF switch on the light panel and toggle it to power the unit on or off. When using the remote, setting brightness to 0% will effectively turn off the light output, but the unit remains powered.

Use the adjust knob on the back of the light panel or the wireless remote control to modify settings.

  • Kupenya: Rotate the knob or use the remote to adjust brightness from 0% to 100%.
  • Ruvara Tembiricha: Rotate the knob or use the remote to adjust color temperature from 3000K (warm) to 8000K (cool).

The included wireless remote allows for convenient adjustment of light parameters from a distance.

  • Channel/Group Selection: Use the 'CH' and 'GP' buttons on the remote to select the desired channel (1-48) and group (A-F).

  • The remote cannot physically turn off the light; it only sets brightness to 0%. Manually turn off the light using the switch on the panel.
  • For wireless control, ensure both the light and the remote are set to the same channel and group.

4. Master and Slave Function

Any K80 light can act as a master to control other K80 lights. To use this function:

  1. Set all lights you wish to control to the same channel and group.
  2. Adjust settings on one light (the master), and the other lights (slaves) in the same channel and group will synchronize.

Maintenance

  • Kuchenesa: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the light panel and remote control. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
