1. Setup

1.1 Unboxing

Carefully remove the keyboard and its accessories from the packaging. The box contains the MelGeek MADE68 Ultra keyboard, a USB-C cable, and a keycap puller. Additional keycaps for Mac users are also included.

1.2 Kubatanidza Kiyibhodhi

Connect the provided USB-C cable to the port on the left side of the keyboard and the other end to your computer's USB port. The keyboard is wired-only for optimal performance.

1.3 Software Installation (HIVE Firmware)

For advanced customization, including macro programming, Dynamic Keystroke Strategy (DKS), SnapTap anti-jitter, and firmware updates, download the HIVE software from the official MelGeek websaiti: hive.melgeek.com.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Hall Effect Magnetic Switches

The MADE68 Ultra features TTC Magneto switches, offering adjustable actuation from 0.1mm to 4.0mm. This allows for rapid trigger responses, beneficial for competitive gaming. Different switches may have different adjustable ranges.

2.2 Pro-Grade Performance

Experience zero-lag inputs with a 16K polling rate and 8KHz report rate. The W.I.N. Algorithm and Rapid Trigger dynamically optimize actuation points, preventing errors in fast-paced games.

2.3 Customization and Hot-Swapping

The keyboard supports hot-swappable switches, allowing you to easily change and mix different brands of magnetic switches. Replaceable RGB lightbox panels and side plates offer visual personalization.

2.4 FN Key Instructions

The keyboard features various FN key combinations for controlling lighting, media, and other functions. Refer to the quick guide for a detailed layout of these functions.

The keyboard offers 16.8 million RGB lighting effects and 7 lighting modes, which can be customized via the HIVE software or FN key combinations.

Regularly clean your keyboard using a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, you may carefully remove keycaps using the provided keycap puller and clean underneath. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

To replace switches, use a switch puller (not included) to gently remove the existing switch. Align the new switch with the PCB hot-swappable socket and press firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the switch pins are not bent.

3.3 Replacing Keycaps

Use the included keycap puller to carefully remove keycaps. To install new keycaps, align them with the switch stem and press down gently. The ABS double-shot keycaps are designed to resist shine.

3.4 Aluminum Case Care

The aluminum case provides durability. To maintain its appearance, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or harsh environments.
