This manual provides instructions for the Generic Translation Device Scan Reading Pen, model Schools Intelligent Scanning and Question Taking. This device is designed to facilitate language translation and learning across 112 languages, featuring a 4-inch high-definition touchscreen and various scanning and translation functionalities. 4. Setup
4.1 Kuchaja Chishandiso
Before initial use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided data cable to the charging port on the device and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator will show the charging status.
4.2 Kubatidza/Kudzima

- Online (Wi-Fi): Navigate to Settings, then Wi-Fi, and select your desired network. Enter the password if prompted.
- Hotspot: Connect to a mobile hotspot provided by your smartphone or another device.
- Offline: The device supports offline scanning translation for certain languages. Ensure necessary language packs are downloaded in advance via a Wi-Fi connection.
5. Operating Instructions
The device offers various translation and learning functionalities accessible via the touchscreen interface.
5.1 Scan Translation
This feature allows you to scan printed text and receive instant translations. Select "Scan Translation" from the main menu. Position the scan head over the text you wish to translate and smoothly glide it across the line. The translated text will appear on the screen.

5.2 Phonetic Translation
For spoken language translation, select "Phonetic Translation". Speak clearly into the device's microphone. The device will process your speech and provide a translation, often with audio output.
5.3 Dudziro yemifananidzo
Utilize the built-in 5MP high-definition camera for translating text from images. Select "Photo Translation" from the menu. Point the camera at the text (e.g., signs, menus, documents). The device uses professional OCR technology to recognize text in 45 languages and provides an instant translation. It supports automatic autofocus for both horizontal and vertical text capture.

5.4 Text Excerpt
This function allows you to scan and save text excerpts for later review or study. Select "Text Excerpt" and scan the desired text. The device will store the recognized text.
5.5 Kurekodha
The device can record audio. Select "Record" to start and stop recordings. Recorded files can be managed within the device's storage.
5.6 AI Learning Features
The device incorporates AI learning capabilities, including intelligent analysis of exercise data and AI identification of weak knowledge points. It also supports comprehensive answer and analysis for all subjects, premium courses, physics and chemistry premium knowledge point video explanations, and special literacy courses.
The device features a large vocabulary library, supporting learning in Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, and Traditional Chinese.

5.7 Zvimwe Zvimwe

- TV Screen Projection: Connect the device to a compatible TV or display for screen mirroring.
- Error Printing: This feature allows for printing of identified errors, likely related to learning functions.
6. Kuchengeta
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your translation device.
- Kuchenesa: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols directly on the device.
