  Turn off the disposer and water. Insert the self-service Jam-Buster wrenchette (hex key) into the center hole at the bottom of the disposal and turn it back and forth to loosen the jam. If the unit still does not run, check the red reset button.

• Where is the reset button on my InSinkErator?

  The red reset button is located on the bottom of the disposal unit, opposite the sink flange. If the overload protector has tripped, the button will be popped out. Gently press it back in to reset the unit.
