Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your TOMLOV DM209 Digital Electronic Microscope for use:

  1. Unganidza Stand: Attach the adjustable bracket to the aluminum alloy base. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  2. Mount the Microscope: Securely mount the 7-inch HD Microscope Camera onto the adjustable bracket.
  3. Isa iyo Lens: Carefully screw the 150X C-MOUNT Lens onto the microscope camera. If included, attach the 2.0X Microscope Auxiliary Objective Lens as needed for specific magnification requirements.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power supply to the microscope and plug it into a suitable power outlet.
  5. Isa Kadhi reTF: Insert the provided 32GB TF card into the designated slot on the microscope for image and video storage.
  6. Optional External Display Connection:
    • HDMI Output: For a larger, high-resolution view (up to 2K), connect the HDMI cable from the microscope to an external monitor or TV.

    • USB Output: ZvePC viewing and using the included measuring software, connect the USB cable from the microscope to your Windows XP/7/8/10 computer.

Operating Instruction

Familiarize yourself with the microscope's functions for optimal use:

Simba On/Kudzima

Press the power button on the microscope monitor or the remote control to turn the device on or off.

Magnification Adjustment

The microscope offers a standard optical magnification of 150X (up to 300X with auxiliary lens) and a digital electronic amplification of 7X. Use the focus knob on the adjustable bracket to achieve clear focus on your specimen. The remote control also provides a 3x digital zoom function.

Display Modes

The microscope features a built-in 7-inch IPS monitor with 1024x600 pixel resolution, true-to-life color (16.7 million color codes), 400 nits luminance, 800:1 contrast ratio, and a 178-degree vieweng angle

You can also output the video feed to an external display via HDMI (up to 2K resolution) or to a PC via USB (1080P resolution).

Remote Control Mabasa

The included remote control provides convenient access to several functions:

  • Digital Zoom: Magnify the image up to 3x digitally.
  • Mufananidzo Flip: Flip the image horizontally or vertically.
  • Take Picture/Video: Capture still images or record video footage.
  • Freeze Screen: Pause the live view to examine a specific frame.
  • Black and White Mode: Switch the display to monochrome.

Photos are saved in JPEG format with resolutions up to 26MP. Videos are recorded in MP4 format at 1080P. All captured media is stored on the TF card.

PC Connection and Software

When connected to a Windows PC via USB, you can use the included measuring software for advanced analysis and measurements.

Advanced Settings (HDMI Output)

When connected via HDMI, additional settings are available:

  • White Balance: Automatic/Manual adjustment.
  • Kusadziviririka: Automatic/Manual adjustment.
  • Kupinza: Manual adjustment.
  • Saturation: Manual adjustment.
  • Mirror Set: Options include Normal, Mirror, Flip, or Mirror + Flip.
  • Kusiyanisa: Manual adjustment.
  • Frequency: 50Hz/60Hz.
  • Muchinjikwa: Configure up to 8 cross lines with adjustable color, width, and position.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your microscope, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Kuchenesa Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to clean the microscope lens. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • General Cleaning: Wipe the body of the microscope with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the device.
