5. Kuiswa

5.1 Kuiswa

The speedometer requires an installation hole of 140mm diameter. Ensure sufficient space behind the panel for the unit (77mm depth) and wiring connections. Secure the unit using the provided mounting hardware.

5.2 Wiring Diagram

All connectors are compatible with ISO 16844-1 standard. Refer to the diagram below for correct wiring connections. Incorrect wiring can damage the unit or vehicle electrical system.

White 8-pin Power Connector:

6. Operation and Programming

The speedometer features three buttons for operation and programming. Press and hold the 'Mode' button for 3-5 seconds to enter programming mode.

6.1 Odometer Functions

  • Total Mileage: The total mileage is programmable.
  • Trip Counter: The device includes a trip odometer that can be reset to zero.

6.2 Setting Total Mileage (0-999999.9 km)

  1. Press and hold the 'Mode' button for 3-5 seconds to enter setting mode.
  2. The display will show a value (e.g., "6.2" as a placeholder for current total mileage).
  3. Press the 'Mode' button to cycle through the digits you wish to change.
  4. Press the 'Set' button to change the value of the selected digit.
  5. After setting the desired total mileage, press the 'Mode' button again to save the setting and exit.

6.3 Setting Speed Ratio (1000-65535 pulse/km)

The speed ratio (pulses per kilometer) is programmable, allowing compatibility with various truck models and speed sensors.

  1. Press and hold the 'Mode' button for 3-5 seconds to enter setting mode.
  2. The display will initially show a value (e.g., "6.2"). Continue pressing the 'Mode' button until the display shows the current speed ratio value (e.g., "2470").
  3. Press the 'Mode' button to cycle through the digits.
  4. Press the 'Set' button to change the value of the selected digit.
  5. Once the desired speed ratio is set, press the 'Mode' button again to save the setting and exit.

6.4 Setting Overspeed Buzzer Alarm Value (0-125 km/h)

You can set an overspeed alarm that will sound a loud buzzer if the truck's speed exceeds the set value.

  1. Press and hold the 'Mode' button for 3-5 seconds to enter setting mode.
  2. The display will initially show a value (e.g., "6.2"). Continue pressing the 'Mode' button until the display shows the current overspeed alarm value (e.g., "100" for 100 km/h).
  3. Press the 'Mode' button to cycle through the digits.
  4. Press the 'Set' button to change the value of the selected digit.
  5. After setting the desired overspeed alarm value, press the 'Mode' button again to save the setting and exit.

6.5 Entering Program Mode (General)

This sequence allows entry into a general programming mode, which may be used for advanced settings or diagnostics not detailed here.

  1. Press and hold the 'Mode' button for 3-5 seconds to enter setting mode.
  2. The display will initially show a value (e.g., "6.2"). Continue pressing the 'Mode' button until the display shows "P000".
  3. Press the 'Set' button to change "P000" to "P001".
  4. Press the 'Mode' button again to save and exit this mode.
