5. Setup uye Kuiswa

5.1 Kuchaja Chishandiso

Before first use, fully charge the intercom unit. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the unit and to a USB power source. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.

5.2 Kuisa Intercom

Choose the appropriate mounting method for your helmet:

  • Clip Mount: Use the mounting clips to attach the intercom unit to the edge of your helmet.
  • Adhesive Mount: Use the Velcro stickers for a more permanent attachment to a flat surface on your helmet.

Ensure the unit is securely fastened and does not obstruct your vision or helmet functionality.

Install the integrated microphone and speakers inside your helmet. The microphone type (soft or hard mic) is chosen based on your helmet type (e.g., hard mic for half helmets). Position the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets and the microphone near your mouth for optimal audio quality.

  • Power On: Press and hold the 'M' (Power) button until the indicator lights up.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the 'M' (Power) button until the indicator turns off.

  2. Press and hold the 'M' (Power) button until the indicator light flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your mobile phone, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
  4. Select "V10" or a similar name from the list to connect.
  5. Once connected, the indicator light will change, usually to a slow flash or solid light.

5.6 Intercom Pairing (Two Units)

To use the intercom function between two V10 units:

  5. The maximum intercom distance is 300 meters without obstructions.

To activate your mobile phone's AI voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant):

The V10 2X intercom is IPX6 rated, meaning it is resistant to dust, mud, and splashes. To clean the unit, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Do NOT submerge the device in water or use harsh chemical cleaners, as this may damage the electronics and void the warranty.
