5. Setup
5.1 Attaching the Suction Cup/Mount
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is free of dust, dirt, and moisture. A clean, smooth, non-porous surface is crucial for secure suction.
- Place the suction cup firmly on the desired surface.
- Engage the suction mechanism. For manual suction cups, press down and flip the lever. For electronic suction cups, activate the motor until a secure vacuum is established.
- Verify the suction cup is securely attached by gently pulling on it.
5.2 Assembling the Shock Absorbing Arm
- Attach the Shock Absorbing Arm to the Rosette Mounting Bracket on the suction cup. Ensure the 25mm rosette connection is tight.
- Connect the Mounting Bracket and Support Arm to the Shock Absorbing Arm as needed for your desired configuration.
- Attach the 220g Counterweight if additional balance is required for your camera setup.
5.3 Mounting Your Camera/Device
- Utilize the NATO Quick-Release Adapter to securely attach your compatible action camera (DJI Pocket 3, Insta360 X3/X4, GoPro) or smartphone (with Khronos Kit) to the end of the arm.
- Ensure the camera is firmly seated and locked into place.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Adjusting Position and Angle
- The Hydra Alien Mini features multi-axis adjustments, allowing for 270°, 90°, and 270° rotation at different joints.
- Use the 25mm rosette connections and the 360° infinite adjustment knob to fine-tune the camera's position and angle for optimal framing.
- Loosen adjustment knobs, position the arm as desired, and then firmly tighten the knobs to lock the position.

6.2 Utilizing the Hydraulic Damping System
- Iyo yakabatanidzwa hydraulic damping system is designed to absorb shocks and vibrations, providing stable footage even at high speeds (up to 100 km/h).
- The system uses automotive-grade damping oil for consistent performance.
- No specific user adjustment is typically required for the damping system during operation, as it functions automatically to stabilize the camera.

7. Kuchengeta
- Kuchenesa: Wipe down the aluminum alloy components with a soft, dry cloth after each use. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp jira uye woomesa pakarepo.
- Suction Cup Care: Regularly clean the rubber surface of the suction cup with mild soap and water to maintain optimal grip. Ensure it is completely dry before storage or reuse.
- Joints and Rosettes: Keep all rosette connections and adjustment points free of debris. Periodically check that all screws and fasteners are tight.
- Hydraulic System: The hydraulic damping system is largely maintenance-free. If you notice a significant change in damping performance, consult professional service. Users can add additional oil as needed, following specific instructions not provided in this general manual.
- Kuchengeta: Store the Hydra Alien Mini in its original packaging or a protective case to prevent damage.
8. Kugadzirisa matambudziko
- Foo isina kugadzikanatage:
- Ensure all mounting points and camera connections are securely tightened.
- Verify the suction cup is properly sealed to a clean, smooth surface.
- Check if the camera's weight is within the specified load capacity (0.33-1.32 lbs).
- Adjust the counterweight for better balance if necessary.
- Suction Cup Losing Grip:
- Clean the mounting surface and the suction cup thoroughly.
- Ensure the surface is non-porous and flat.
- For electronic suction cups, check battery level and ensure the motor is fully engaged.
- Difficulty Adjusting Arm:
- Loosen the rosette and adjustment knobs sufficiently before attempting to reposition.
- Ensure no debris is obstructing the joints.
9. Mazano emushandisi
- Pre-test Your Setup: Before driving, always perform a static test of your mounted camera system to ensure stability and proper camera angle.
- Surface Preparation is Key: A clean, dry, and smooth mounting surface is critical for the suction cup's performance. Consider using a small amount of water on the suction cup rim for an even better seal on very smooth surfaces.
- Balance Your Load: While the hydraulic system handles damping, proper balance of your camera and accessories on the arm will improve overall stability and reduce strain on the system. Utilize the counterweight as needed.
- Edzai nemaAngles: The multi-axis adjustment offers great flexibility. Take time to experiment with different camera angles and positions to achieve unique and dynamic shots.
