This section provides a step-by-step guide for installing your automatic sliding gate opener. For a visual demonstration, please refer to the installation video below.
This video demonstrates the unboxing, assembly of gear racks, installation of limit blocks, mounting the motor, and remote control pairing for the VEVOR sliding gate opener.
5.1 Pre-Instalation Checks
- Ensure the gate slides smoothly and is properly aligned.
- Verify that the gate is structurally sound and can support the weight of the opener.
- Confirm that the installation area is level and provides adequate space for the opener and its components.
5.2 Mounting the Gear Racks
- Take out the machine and accessories from the packaging box.
- Install the related screws into the gear rack sections.
- Align the gear rack with the motor's gear, ensuring they have the same height.
- Tighten the gear rack sections and weld them firmly to the gate.

5.3 Installing Limit Blocks
- Take out the position limiting bracket and mount the magnets. Note that the two magnets have different installation heights (one on top, another under it).
- Install one limited block on the right side of the gear rack and another on the left side. These define the open and close positions of the gate.
5.4 Mounting the Motor Unit
- Take out the bottom board (mounting plate) and place the machine on it.
- Make a mark and drill a hole with a 10mm diameter for the M8 anchoring screws.
- Tighten the M8 anchoring screws into the hole.
- Put the machine on the right position on the M8 screws.
- Place the washer and tighten the screws to secure the motor unit.
5.5 Initial Testing and Adjustment
- Before powering on, use the keys to set the machine into an empty space (manual mode). This allows for manual movement of the gate for installation and debugging.
- Open and close the door by hand to check whether it runs smoothly. If not, adjust the gear rack and motor position as required.
