The Famue BF12 is a versatile Android MP3 player designed for music, video, and app usage. It features a 4.0-inch IPS display, capacitive touch control, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
2. Important Warnings & Regional Information
This product is specifically designed for the Russian market and other Russian-speaking countries. It comes preinstalled with Rustore and does not include GMS (Google Mobile Services) components. Therefore, applications requiring Google services may not function correctly. Buyers from other regions are strongly advised to consider this limitation before purchase.
If you have purchased this device without reading the warning, it is recommended to install alternative Android app stores for use (for example: Aurora Store, APKPure, Aptoide, Gbox, APKMirror, F-Droid).

- Keep the product away from electromagnetic environments, excessive humidity, smoke, and dust.
- Do not immerse the device in water or use corrosive/abrasive cleaning agents.
- Avoid applying excessive force or subjecting the product to severe vibration/impact.
- When using headphones, turn down the volume before playback and gradually increase it to a comfortable level. Avoid high volumes for extended periods to protect your hearing.
- Ensure the product is placed safely to prevent accidental contact or dropping by children.
- Do not use headphones while driving, operating machinery, or in situations requiring awareness of external sounds.

5. Setup & Initial Use
5.1 Kuchaja Chishandiso
The device supports USB charging. Connect one end of the provided Type-C USB cable to a computer's USB port or a 5VDC/1A power adapter (meeting national standards and CCC certification). Connect the other end to the device's charging port.
Charging is complete when the battery icon on the screen stops flashing. Under normal circumstances, the unit takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge. After charging, unplug it from the USB port to prevent overcharging.
Zvakakosha: New batteries require several charge-discharge cycles to reach optimal performance. If the device is not used for an extended period, charge it at least once a month to prevent battery damage from excessive depletion. Battery damage caused by over-depletion or using non-device-specific chargers is not covered by the warranty.

5.2 Simba On/Kudzima
- Power On: In the powered-off state, press and hold the Power Button (5) until the boot screen appears.
- Power Off: In the powered-on state, press and hold the Power Button (5) to initiate the shutdown process.
5.3 Inserting a TF Card (External Memory)
The device has a TF card expansion slot (8) that supports up to 1TB of external memory for storing videos, images, e-books, and other files.
- Kupinza: Insert the TF card correctly into the slot and push it inward until you hear a "click."
- Kubvisa: Push the card inward slightly, then release. The card will pop out automatically, allowing you to remove it.
Notes: Ensure the card is inserted correctly. Do not remove the memory card while it is in use (e.g., reading or transferring data) to prevent data errors. Avoid storing the memory card in high-temperature, high-humidity environments, and keep it away from liquids and corrosive materials.

6. Mirayiridzo Yekushanda
6.1 Main Interface & Navigation
Upon powering on, the device will display the main interface. The top bar (Status Bar) shows information like time, battery level, and Bluetooth status. Tap the function icons directly to access various features or settings.
- Dzoka: Tap the "←" icon in the top-left corner to go back to the previous menu.
- Home/Main Menu: Use button (12) to return to the main menu.
- Background Programs: Use button (13) to view and manage running background applications.
6.2 Kugadziridza Vhoriyamu
- Mabhatani: During playback, briefly press the "Volume Up" button (2) to increase volume or "Volume Down" button (3) to decrease volume.
- Bata: A volume bar will appear on the desktop; drag the slider to adjust the volume level.
6.3 File Management
Dzvanya "Files" icon on the main interface to access files stored on the device or TF card. Tap a file to open it. Media content will open in its corresponding application (e.g., Music, Video, Gallery).
This feature also allows creating new folders and searching for files. Long-press a file to access options like Copy, Cut, Share, Delete, Rename, and View Details.

6.4 Kubatana kweBluetooth
Tap the "Bluetooth" icon on the main interface. Toggle the switch in the top-right corner to turn on Bluetooth. Tap "Tsvaga New Devices" to connect to available devices. The device will automatically reconnect to previously paired devices. The Bluetooth icon in the status bar will change to indicate connection.
From the "Available Devices" list, tap the desired device to establish a connection. The device supports dual-directional Bluetooth connection.

6.5 Zvirongwa
Tap the "Settings" icon on the main interface to configure various device options:
- WLAN: Connect to available Wi-Fi networks.
- Bluetooth: Pair with other Bluetooth devices (phones, headsets, speakers).
- Memory: View chimiro chekuchengetedza chemukati.
- Zvishandiso & Zviziviso: Manage applications and notification permissions.
- Bhatiri: Check battery level and configure power-saving settings.
- Ratidza: Adjust brightness, night mode, wallpaper, sleep time, screen rotation, font size/style, and screen saver.
- Inzwi: Adjust media, alarm, and notification volumes.
- Kuchengeta: Manage internal and TF card storage.
- Chengetedzo: Set lock screen password and encrypt data.
- Auto Kudzima: Configure automatic shutdown timing (5, 10, 15 minutes, or never).
- Simba Rakarongwa Pa/Kudzima: Set automatic power-on/off times.
- System: Language and input method, date and time, factory reset, and device information.
6.6 Multimedia Mabasa
- Gallery: Tap the "Images" icon. Tap a file to open it. Toolbar functions include Delete, Play Slideshow, Edit, Rotate, Crop, Set as Background, Details, and Print. The "pencil" icon allows image editing. Swipe left/right to navigate pages.
- FM Radio: Tap the "Radio" icon. Use "<" and ">" buttons for manual tuning. Use "◄" and "►" for quick switching between saved stations. The "=" icon auto-searches for frequencies. The "headphone/speaker" icon switches output. The "record" icon records radio audio. Tap "play" or "pause" to control playback.
- Voice Recorder: Tap the "Recorder" icon. Tap "record" to start, "pause/resume" to pause/resume, and "square" to save. Tap "list" to view recorded files (WAV and MP3 formats).
- Karenda: Tap the "Calendar" icon. Use the "menu" icon to switch between daily, weekly, monthly, and schedule views. Select a day to add notes. Menu options include Create New Event, Refresh, Search, Display Calendar, Clear All Events, Jump To, and Settings.

7. Parental Control & Child Safety
The Famue BF12 operates on a closed Android system, making it suitable for children's safe use. It features smooth operation with no system advertisements and restricted access to certain content.

Parents can manage app usage and screen time through various control methods. This includes setting time blocks, blocking specific applications, and other restrictions via a mobile application.

7.1 Enabling Third-Party App Installation (Advanced Users)
By default, permission to install third-party applications is activated. If this permission is disabled (e.g., after a device reset), you can reactivate it:

9.1 Seti Reset
If the player freezes or becomes unresponsive, you can perform a system reset:
- Insert a stylus or a thin, pointed object into the "RESET" button hole (4) on the device.
- This will force a system restart.
- If the device still fails to power on after a reset, check if the battery is completely drained and attempt to charge it.
