4. Setup Guide

  1. Mugamuchiri Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the receiver. Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
  2. Transmitter Units: The transmitters come with built-in rechargeable lithium batteries. Before first use, ensure they are fully charged using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the cable to the transmitter and a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter). The charging indicator will show status.

4.2 Pairing Transmitters with Receiver

The transmitters and receiver are pre-paired at the factory. If they do not connect automatically, follow these steps:

  1. Place the receiver and transmitters close to each other.
  2. Ensure both receiver and transmitters are powered on.
  3. The receiver should automatically display temperature readings from the transmitters. If not, refer to the troubleshooting section.

  • MUENZANISO: Cycles through different display modes or enters settings.
  • UP / PASI: Adjusts values when setting alarms or other parameters.
  • HISTORY/CLEAR: Displays MAX/MIN temperature records. Press and hold to clear records.
  • LIGHT/°F/°C: Toggles backlight. Press and hold to switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C).

5.3 Setting Temperature Alerts

The device can alert you if temperatures go above or below your set thresholds.

  1. Press the MODE button until the alarm setting icon appears for the desired channel (refrigerator or freezer).
