1. Simba Source
The CX-R122 operates on two (2) AA batteries (not included) or an optional DC power cord. To install batteries:

2. Inserting a Microcassette

- Ensure a microcassette is inserted and the unit has power.
- Press the RECORD button. The record indicator light will illuminate.
- Speak clearly into the built-in microphone, or use an external microphone connected to the microphone jack.

Playback
To play back recorded audio:

- Adjust the volume using the volume control dial.

- Press the RECORD button on the CX-R122 when your party answers the call.
