4. Installation Instructions

1. Attach Duct Connector: From the attic, slide the 4-inch metal duct connector onto the collar of the roof cap. Secure it with duct tape (metal foil tape recommended) and/or a nylon zip tie.
2. Connect Flexible Ducting: Attach one end of the 8 ft. flexible ducting to the metal duct connector. Secure it firmly with duct tape and a nylon zip tie.
3. Connect to Exhaust Fan: Route the flexible ducting to the exhaust fan's discharge port. If your fan uses 3-inch ducting, use the provided 4-inch to 3-inch reducer adapter. Secure all connections with duct tape and nylon zip ties. Ensure the ducting is as straight as possible with minimal bends to maximize airflow.
4. Insulate Ducting (Optional but Recommended): In humid climates, insulating the ducting can help prevent condensation buildup.
