2. Safety Information
Your safety is paramount. Please observe the following safety guidelines:

4. Setup
Kuburitsa
Carefully remove the cooktop from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage. Inspect the appliance for any damage. Do not use if damaged.
Placement
The Steba IK 200 can be used as a portable appliance or built into a countertop.
- Portable Use: Place the cooktop on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate space around the unit for ventilation.
- Kuiswa-Kuiswa mukati: If installing into a countertop, ensure the cutout dimensions match the appliance. Refer to the dimensions in the specifications section. Ensure proper ventilation is maintained beneath the unit as per installation guidelines.

Power Connection

5. Operating Instructions
Inoenderana Cookware
Only use cookware made of ferromagnetic material (e.g., cast iron, enameled iron, stainless steel with a magnetic bottom) with a flat base. Test compatibility by holding a magnet to the bottom of the pot; if it sticks, the pot is suitable for induction cooking. Cookware diameter should be between 12 cm and 26 cm.
Basic Operation
- Place induction-compatible cookware centrally on the desired cooking zone.
- Dhinda bhatani reMasimba (I) to turn on the cooktop. The display will show 'ON'.
- Select the cooking zone you wish to use (Left or Right).
- Adjust the power level using the '+' and '-' buttons. There are 8 power levels. The display will show the selected level.
- To turn off a cooking zone, press its power button again or reduce the power level to '0'.
- To turn off the entire cooktop, press the main Power button (I).
Timer Basa
The timer can be set for each cooking zone independently:
- With a cooking zone active, press the Timer button (clock icon).
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired cooking time (5-99 minutes).
- The timer will start counting down. Once the time expires, the cooking zone will automatically switch off, and an audible signal will sound.
Mwana Lock
To activate the child lock, press and hold the Lock button (padlock icon) for a few seconds. The display will indicate that the child lock is active. All controls will be disabled. To deactivate, press and hold the Lock button again.
