1. Kugadzwa
The HC1600 projector offers flexible installation options. It can be mounted on a ceiling or placed on a table or shelf. Ensure the projector is positioned to achieve the desired screen size. For a 100-inch diagonal picture, a throw distance of approximately 14 feet is typically required. Avoid obstructing the ventilation openings.
2. Zvisungo
Connect your video sources to the appropriate input ports on the projector. The available input options include:
- HDMI: 1 x HDMI port for digital video and audio.
- RGB (VGA): 1 x Mini D-sub 15pin for computer connection.
- Chikamu Vhidhiyo: 1 x RCA (Y, PB/CB, PR/CR) for high-quality analog video.
- Vhidhiyo Yakasanganiswa: 1 x RCA for standard analog video.
- S-Vhidhiyo: 1 x S-VIDEO port.
- RS-232C: 1 x 8pin port for remote control and system integration.
Ensure all cables are securely connected before powering on the projector.
3. Simba
Connect the supplied AC power cable to the projector's power input and then to a suitable electrical outlet (AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz). The projector consumes approximately 280W/2.9A during operation.
4. Kugadziriswa Kwemifananidzo
- Focus and Zoom: Use the manual focus and zoom rings on the lens to achieve a sharp and appropriately sized image.
- Keystone Kugadziriswa: If the projected image appears trapezoidal, use the digital keystone correction feature (both vertical and horizontal) to square the picture. Refer to the on-screen menu for adjustments.
Operating Instruction
1. Simba On / Off
Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn the unit on. Allow a few moments for the lamp to warm up and the image to appear. To power off, press the power button again. The projector will enter a cool-down cycle before completely shutting down.
2. Input Source Sarudzo
Use the "Input" or "Source" button on the remote control or projector panel to cycle through the available input sources (HDMI, RGB, Component, Composite, S-Video) until your desired source is displayed.
3. Mifananidzo Settings
Access the on-screen display (OSD) menu using the "Menu" button on the remote control. Navigate through the options to adjust picture settings such as:
- Kupenya: Adjusts the overall lightness or darkness of the image.
- Kusiyanisa: Controls the difference between the lightest and darkest parts of the image.
- Ruvara: Inogadzirisa kusimba kwemavara.
- Tint: Fine-tunes the color balance (primarily for NTSC signals).
- Kupinza: Enhances or softens image details.
- Aspect ratio: Inosarudza chimiro chekuratidzira (semuenzaniso, 16:9, 4:3).
- Lamp Modhi: Switch between standard and low lamp modes. Low mode extends lamp life and reduces fan noise.
Maintenance
1. Lamp Kutsiva
Purojekita lamp has an estimated life rating of up to 3000 hours in low mode. When the lamp reaches the end of its life, the projector may display a warning message or the image brightness may significantly decrease.
