3.1 Kuvhura Chigaro Chevhiri

  1. Isa wiricheya yakapetwa panzvimbo yakati sandara, yakagadzikana.
  2. Grasp the top of the handgrips and gently pull them apart.
  3. Push down on the seat rails until the seat is fully open and flat. Ensure the cross braces are fully extended.

3.2 Attaching Footrests/Legrests

  1. Align the footrest attachment pins with the receptacles on the front of the wheelchair frame.
  2. Swing the footrest outward slightly, insert the pins, and then swing the footrest inward until it locks into place.
  3. Adjust the height of the footplates so the user's feet are comfortably supported and knees are at approximately a 90-degree angle. Use the adjustment lever or pin to secure the desired height.

3.3 Adjusting Hemi Seat Height (Dual Axle Design)

The dual axle design allows for easy conversion to hemi seat height. This adjustment lowers the seat for users who propel with their feet.

  1. Remove the rear wheels by depressing the quick-release button on the axle and pulling the wheel off.
  2. Relocate the axle to the lower set of holes on the frame.
  3. Reattach the rear wheels, ensuring they are securely locked.
  4. Adjust the front casters if necessary to maintain proper ground clearance and stability.

4. Operating the Wheelchair

4.1 Engaging and Disengaging Wheel Locks

To move the wheelchair, grasp the handrims on the rear wheels and push forward or backward. Use both hands for smooth, controlled movement.

4.3 Assisted Propulsion

When assisting a user, push the wheelchair by the handgrips located on the back of the chair. Be mindful of obstacles and uneven terrain.

4.4 Folding for Storage/Transport

  1. Ensure footrests are removed or swung out of the way.
  2. Grasp the center of the seat upholstery (front and back) and pull upwards. The wheelchair will begin to fold inward.
  3. Continue pulling until the wheelchair is fully folded.
