3. Setup
The Dimplex CFP3685 is a freestanding electric fireplace designed for easy placement.

4. Operating Instructions
Your Dimplex electric fireplace can be operated using the controls on the unit or the included on/off remote control.
- Batidza/Kudzima: Use the main power switch on the unit or the ON/OFF button on the remote control to turn the fireplace on or off.
- Flame Effect: The patented, life-like flame effect can operate independently of the heat function. Activate or deactivate the flame effect using the dedicated button on the unit or remote.
- Kupisa Basa: The fireplace provides on-demand heat with thermostat control. It can warm a room or area of up to 400 sq. ft. Use the heat control buttons on the unit or remote to adjust the desired temperature. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
- Remote Control: The included remote control allows for convenient operation of the power, flame, and heat settings from a distance. Ensure the remote has working batteries.
