It features multiple tuning modes to suit your needs. Please read this manual thoroughly to understand the tuner's functions and ensure optimal performance.
2. Safety Information
To prevent damage to the device or injury to yourself or others, please observe the following safety precautions:
- Do not expose the tuner to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, high humidity, or corrosive environments.
- Avoid dropping the tuner or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the tuner. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.

4. Setup

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Tuning Modes
The WST-500A offers three primary tuning modes:
- Automatic Mode: The tuner automatically detects the note being played. This is the default mode.
- Manual Mode: Allows you to manually select the target note for tuning.
- Mamiriro Ekurira: The tuner plays a reference tone for you to tune by ear.
5.2 Chromatic Tuning (Automatic Mode)
- Turn on the tuner. It will typically start in Automatic Chromatic mode.
- Play a single note on your instrument. Hold the note steadily.
- The tuner's display will show the detected note name.
- Adjust your instrument until the needle on the display is centered and the indicator light turns green.
- If the needle is to the left, the note is flat; tighten the string. If the needle is to the right, the note is sharp; loosen the string.
5.3 Instrument Presets (Guitar/Violin)
The tuner includes specific presets for Guitar and Violin, which can simplify tuning for these instruments.
- Batidza tuner.
- Press the AUTO/ITEM button repeatedly to cycle through the available instrument modes (Chromatic, Guitar, Violin). The selected instrument will be indicated on the display.
- In Guitar or Violin mode, play the desired string. The tuner will display the target note for that string and guide you to tune it.
- Tune your instrument until the display indicates the correct pitch (centered needle, green light).
5.4 Manual Maitiro
Use Manual mode when you need to tune to a specific note or if the automatic detection is challenging.

- Press the MANUAL button to enter Manual mode.
- Shandisa iyo UP uye PASI buttons to select your desired target note.
- Play the corresponding note on your instrument and adjust until the display indicates accurate tuning.
5.5 Sound Mode
Sound mode provides an audible reference tone for tuning by ear.

- Press the FLAT/SOUND button to enter Sound mode.
- Press the FLAT/SOUND button again to cycle through the available reference tones (e.g., A4, B4, C5).
- Listen to the reference tone and tune your instrument's corresponding string to match the pitch.
