Setup uye Installation

The MB-118 bracket is designed for versatile mounting of your ICOM transceiver. It can be installed to allow the radio to be mounted either above or below a surface, such as a dashboard or shelf.

  3. Position the Transceiver with Bracket: Place the transceiver (with the attached bracket) in the desired mounting location. Mark the positions for the mounting screws on the chosen surface through the slots on the bracket.
  4. Secure the Bracket to the Surface: Drill pilot holes if necessary, then use appropriate screws and washers to secure the bracket to the mounting surface. The elongated slots on the bracket allow for some adjustment in positioning. Ensure all screws are tightened securely to prevent any movement of the radio during use.
