Safety Information
Your Nolan N20 Outlaw Helmet is designed to provide protection during motorcycle riding. Adherence to the following safety guidelines is crucial:
- Yakakodzera Fit: A helmet must fit snugly and comfortably. It should not move freely on your head. Refer to the sizing guide for correct measurement.
- Chin Strap: Always fasten the chin strap securely. The strap should be tight enough so that the helmet cannot be pulled off your head.
- Impact Protection: Helmets are designed for a single impact. If your helmet sustains an impact, even if it appears undamaged, it must be replaced.
- Kuonekwa: Ensure your visor is clean and free from obstructions. Replace scratched or damaged visors immediately.
- Makemikari: Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning fluids, paints, or other solvents, as they can damage the helmet's materials and compromise its protective capabilities.

1. Helmet Sizing and Fit
Selecting the correct helmet size is paramount for safety and comfort. Use the provided size chart to measure your head circumference accurately.

- Measure your head circumference just above your eyebrows and ears.
- Compare your measurement to the "Circumference CM" row for the N20 model in the size chart.
- Try on the helmet. It should feel snug around your head and cheeks without causing painful pressure points.
- With the chin strap fastened, try to move the helmet from side to side and up and down. Your skin should move with the helmet, and it should not slide independently.
2. Chin Strap Adjustment
The chin strap is a critical safety component. Ensure it is correctly adjusted every time you wear the helmet.
- Place the helmet on your head and fasten the quick-release buckle.
- Pull the loose end of the strap until it is comfortably snug under your chin.
- Ensure there is no slack in the strap and that it does not pinch your throat.
- Perform a final check by attempting to roll the helmet off your head from the back. If it comes off, the strap is too loose or the helmet is too large.

Visor Operation
The Nolan N20 Outlaw Helmet features an adjustable visor for eye protection.
- Kuvhura/Kuvhara: Gently push the visor up or pull it down using the tab located at the bottom center or side of the visor. The visor has multiple detent positions to allow for partial opening.
- Kubvisa: To remove the visor for cleaning or replacement, locate the quick-release mechanisms on both sides of the helmet near the visor pivots. Follow the specific instructions printed on the helmet or refer to the Nolan website for detailed visual guides. Typically, this involves pressing a button or lever and rotating the visor.
- Kuiswa: Align the visor's pivot points with the helmet's mechanisms and snap it into place. Ensure both sides are securely attached before use.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Helmet
- Exterior Shell: Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth, warm water, and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Rinse thoroughly and air dry.
- Interior Padding: The interior comfort padding may be removable for washing. If so, gently remove it and hand wash with mild soap and water. Allow it to air dry completely before reinstallation. If not removable, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then allow to air dry.

Storage
