Kubatanidza Lens

  1. Ensure both the camera and the lens are powered off.

Located on the side of the lens barrel (refer to Figure 3), this switch allows you to select between Autofocus (AF) and Manual Focus (MF) modes.

  • MF (Manual Focus): You manually adjust the focus by rotating the focus ring. This mode is useful for precise focusing in specific situations, such as macro photography or astrophotography.

When in MF mode, rotate the large ring towards the front of the lens to adjust the focus. The focus distance scale, visible through a window on the lens barrel, indicates the current focus distance in both feet and meters.

Aperture (f/1.4)

This lens features a wide maximum aperture of f/1.4. This allows for:

  • Excellent Low-Light Performance: More light can enter the lens, enabling photography in dimly lit environments without excessively high ISO settings.
