Maintenance Procedures

1. Engine Oil Change

The kit includes two quarts of SAE 5W-30 full synthetic engine oil. This oil is formulated for optimal performance in various temperatures.

  5. After refilling the engine oil, run the generator for a few minutes and check for leaks around the oil filter.

3. Air Filter Replacement

The kit includes one air filter. A clean air filter ensures proper engine breathing and prevents contaminants from entering the engine.

  1. Locate the air filter housing on your generator.
  2. Open the housing by releasing the clips or screws.
  3. Remove the old air filter. Note its orientation.
