  4. Insert the required batteries, observing correct polarity (+ and -).
  5. Tsiva chivharo chekamuri yebhatiri uye chengetedza nescuru.

A low battery indication will appear on the display when the battery voltage is low, signaling the need for replacement.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 General Operation

  • Turn the function dial to the desired measurement setting.
  • Connect test leads to the appropriate input terminals (COM and VΩ) for voltage, resistance, continuity, or diode tests.
  • For current measurements, use the clamp jaw around a single conductor.
  • Press the SARUDZA button to toggle between AC/DC modes or other sub-functions if available for the selected range.
  • Press the DATA RAKABATA bhatani kuti uomese kuverenga kuripo pachiratidziro. Dzvanya zvakare kuti ubvise.

5.2 AC/DC Voltage Kuyera

  1. Set the function dial to the "VOLTS" position.
  2. Connect the black test lead to the COM terminal and the red test lead to the VΩ terminal.
  3. Press the SARUDZA button to choose between AC or DC voltage measurement. The display will indicate "AC" or "DC".
  4. Batanidza bvunzo dzinotungamira mukuenderana nedunhu kana chikamu chiri pasi pekuyedzwa.
  5. Verenga bhukutage kukosha pane LCD kuratidza.

5.3 AC Kuyerwa Kwazvino (Cl)amp)

  1. Set the function dial to the desired AC current range (40A, 400A, or 1000A).
  2. Vhura clamp shaya nekudzvanya chitokisi.
  3. Enclose only one conductor of the circuit within the clamp Iva nechokwadi chekuti shaya yakavharwa zvizere.
  4. Read the AC current value on the LCD display.

5.4 Frequency (Hz) Measurement

  1. Set the function dial to the "Hz" position.
  2. Connect the black test lead to the COM terminal and the red test lead to the VΩ terminal.
  3. Connect the test leads in parallel to the circuit where frequency needs to be measured.
  4. Read the frequency value in Hertz (Hz) on the LCD display.

5.5 Audible Continuity Check

  1. Set the function dial to the continuity/diode symbol (often shared with resistance).
  2. Connect the black test lead to the COM terminal and the red test lead to the VΩ terminal.
  3. Touch the test probes across the component or circuit to be tested.
  4. Kana paine kuenderera mberi (kupikisa kwakaderera), mita inoburitsa ruzha runonzwika.

5.6 Bvunzo yeDiode

  1. Set the function dial to the continuity/diode symbol.
  2. Connect the black test lead to the COM terminal and the red test lead to the VΩ terminal.
  3. Connect the red test lead to the anode of the diode and the black test lead to the cathode. The display will show the forward voltage kudonha
  4. Reverse the test leads. The display should show "OL" (overload) for a good diode.
