Operating Instruction

- Meat Type Selection (Cook Mode):
- Slide the switch on the back to 'TEMP'.
- Press the 'MEAT/ST/SP' button repeatedly to cycle through USDA preset meat types (e.g., Poultry, Beef, Ham, Pork).
- The display will show the selected meat type and its recommended internal temperature.

The device comes pre-programmed with USDA-recommended temperatures for different types of meat, including poultry, beef, ham, and pork, which can be adjusted to personal preference.
- Custom Temperature Setting:
- While in 'TEMP' mode, press the '▲ HR' or '▼ MIN' buttons to manually adjust the target temperature.
- The set temperature will flash, indicating it is being adjusted. Press 'MEAT/ST/SP' to confirm or wait for it to stop flashing.

Users can easily set custom target temperatures for their desired doneness, with an audible alert when the temperature is achieved.
- Timer Mode:
- Slide the switch on the back to 'TIMER'.
- Press '▲ HR' and '▼ MIN' to set the desired countdown time (up to 99 hours, 59 minutes).
- Press 'MEM/S/S' to start or pause the timer.
- To reset the timer, press and hold '▲ HR' and '▼ MIN' simultaneously.
- The timer can also function as a count-up timer by pressing 'MEM/S/S' without setting a time.

The thermometer includes both countdown and count-up timer modes, allowing for precise cooking times up to 99 hours and 59 minutes. An alarm sounds when the set temperature or time is reached.
