2. Setup
2.1 Kusunungura uye Kuisa
Carefully remove the sewing machine from its packaging. Place the machine on a stable, flat surface with adequate lighting. Ensure there is enough space around the machine for comfortable operation.

Follow the numbered threading path indicated on the machine. This typically involves guiding the thread from the spool pin, through the upper tension discs, down and around the take-up lever, and finally through the semi-automatic needle threader or manually through the needle eye.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Sarudzo yeMusono
The Bernette B33 offers 15 built-in stitches, including utility, decorative, and stretch stitches, as well as a 4-step buttonhole function. Rotate the stitch selection dial on the front of the machine to choose your desired stitch.
3.2 Stitch Length and Width Adjustment
Adjust stitch length and width using the dedicated dials. For most general sewing, a stitch length of 2.5mm is suitable. Experiment with different settings to achieve the desired look for your project.
3.3 Presser Foot Lift
The machine features a 2-step presser foot lift, allowing you to raise the presser foot higher for easier placement of thick fabrics or multiple layers. Always lower the presser foot before beginning to sew.
3.4 Free Arm Sewing
To utilize the free arm, remove the accessory box. This feature is ideal for sewing cylindrical items such as cuffs, sleeves, pant hems, and small children's garments.

Regular cleaning is crucial for optimal performance. Use a small brush to remove lint and dust from the bobbin case area and feed dogs. It is recommended to clean the machine after every few hours of sewing or after completing a large project.
