Operating Instruction
The Keilton CT5 Auto Version Gen 2 offers two testing modes:
- Sarudza iyo Modhi:
- ON (Manual Mode): In this mode, you manually control the testing sequence. Use the "left-right" buttons to advance from one connection test to the next.
- AUTO (Automatic Mode): This mode automatically tests all connections in a sequence. You do not need to press the "left-right" buttons; the tester will cycle through connections automatically.
- Ita Muedzo:
- Connect both ends of the cable you wish to test to the appropriate sockets on the cable tester. The tester supports 6.3mm TRS Jack, DIN connector, RCA (Phono), XLR (microphone cable - male/female), and Speakon 4Pin connectors.
- If in ON (Manual) mode, set the "left-right" button to position 1 to begin.
- Observe the LED indicators. For an intact cable, both the top (red) and lower (green) LEDs corresponding to a specific pin will light up. This indicates that pin 1 of the cable in the left socket is connected to pin 1 of the cable connector in the right socket, and so on for other pins.
- A missing or dim LED indicates a fault in that specific conductor or connection.
