5. Setup

5.1. Kubatanidza neKombuta (USB)

1. Locate the included USB cable.
2. Connect the square (Type B) end of the USB cable to the USB port on the rear panel of the X8 Pro.
3. Connect the flat (Type A) end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.
4. The X8 Pro is USB plug-and-play and does not require additional drivers for most operating systems (Windows 7/10, Mac OS X). Your computer should automatically recognize the device.
5. The unit will power on automatically once connected to a powered USB port. Note that the X8 Pro does not have a dedicated power on/off switch.

5.2. Kubatanidza Pedals

• Sustain Pedal: Connect a standard sustain pedal (normally-closed or normally-open type) to the "SUSTAIN" 1/4-inch jack on the rear panel.

6.1. Basic Operation
