The TSL LTN8608-P8 is a professional-grade 8-channel Network Video Recorder (NVR) designed for advanced surveillance systems. This quad-core NVR supports live view, storage, and playback of IP cameras up to 12.3MP resolution, offering high-definition video recording and management capabilities. It features an 80MB input bandwidth and 8 built-in Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports for direct camera connection, simplifying installation.

The NVR provides versatile video output options including 4K (3840x2160) HDMI, VGA, and CVBS. It supports up to two SATA hard drives, each up to 12TB (hard drives are not included and must be purchased separately for recording). Advanced features include support for 6MP/12.3MP fisheye cameras and compatibility with H.264, H.264 Zip+, and H.265 video compression formats for efficient storage.

The front panel of the LTN8608-P8 NVR features several indicators and controls for direct interaction with the device. On the left, the "LTS" logo is visible. Towards the center, there are LED indicators for POWER, READY, STATUS, ALARM, and HDD activity, providing quick visual feedback on the NVR's operational status. To the right, a set of numerical and function buttons (1-9, 0) are present, including dedicated buttons for MENU, ESC, SHIFT, PLAY, REC, PTZ, and PREV. A directional pad with an 'Enter' button is located further to the right for navigation. A USB port is also conveniently located on the far right for connecting peripherals like a mouse or USB drive.

5.1 Hard Drive Installation (Optional)

The NVR does not include a hard drive. A hard drive is required for recording video. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full manual for proper installation of SATA hard drives. Ensure the NVR is powered off and disconnected from the power source before opening the casing.

5.3 First Time Setup Wizard

After successful setup, the NVR will display the live view of connected cameras. Use the mouse or front panel controls to switch between single-channel view, multi-channel view, or sequence display.

Recording can be configured for continuous, motion detection, alarm, or scheduled modes. Access the "Record" menu from the main interface to set up recording schedules and parameters for each channel.
