3. Setup
3.1 Kuiswa kwebhatiri
The Korg AWOTGPOLY tuner requires 1 AAA battery (included). To install or replace the battery:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the tuner unit.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Kubatidza/Kudzima
- Kubatidza: Press the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) located on the tuner. The OLED display will illuminate.
- Kudzima: Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The tuner also features an auto-power-off function to save battery life.
4.2 Tuning Modes
The Korg AWOTGPOLY offers various tuning modes. Refer to the tuner's display for mode indicators.
- Polyphonic Mode: Strum all strings simultaneously. The tuner will display the tuning status of each string, allowing you to quickly identify and adjust any out-of-tune strings.
- Single String Mode: Pluck individual strings. The tuner will display the note and indicate whether it is sharp, flat, or in tune.
- Chord Finder Function: For guitar-specific models, this feature helps identify chords played.
4.3 Maitiro Ekugadzirisa
- Power on the tuner and select your desired tuning mode (e.g., Polyphonic or Single String).
- Play the string(s) you wish to tune.
- Observe the OLED display. The display will show the detected note and visual indicators (e.g., a needle, strobe patterns, or color changes) to guide your tuning.
- Adjust the tuning peg of the corresponding string until the display indicates the correct pitch (typically a stable green light or centered indicator).
- Repeat for all strings until your instrument is in tune.
4.4 Calibration
The tuner's calibration can be adjusted to match different reference pitches (e.g., A4=440Hz). Consult the tuner's specific buttons (often marked with up/down arrows or 'Calib') to change the reference pitch.
