4. Setup

4.1 Hard Drive Installation (Optional)

The NVR requires a hard drive for video recording. Hard drives are not included and must be purchased separately. The NVR supports up to two SATA hard drives.

Connect the provided power adapter to the NVR's 48V power input and then plug it into a power outlet. Flip the power switch on the rear panel to the ON position. The NVR will boot up, and you should see the boot screen on your connected monitor.

5. Operating Instructions

Upon first boot, the NVR will guide you through an initial setup wizard. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up language, date/time, network settings, and hard drive initialization.
