Physical Buttons and Ports:
- Bhatani reSimba: Located on the top edge, used to turn the device on/off or put it to sleep.
- USB Port: Located on the bottom edge, used for charging and connecting to a computer for data transfer.
- Page Turn Buttons: Located on the side bezels for convenient page navigation.
3. Setup
3.1 Kutanga Kuchaja
Before first use, fully charge your inkBOOK Lumos. Connect the device to a power source using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.
3.2 Kubatidza/Kudzima
- Kubatidza: Press and hold the Power button until the screen activates.
- Kudzima: Press and hold the Power button until a power-off menu appears, then select "Power Off".
- Kurara/Kumuka: Briefly press the Power button to put the device to sleep or wake it up.
3.3 Wi-Fi Connection
To access online features, including downloading books or installing apps, connect your device to a Wi-Fi network:
