This set includes two 100% textile snow chains for two drive wheels, ensuring a safe and quiet driving experience without causing damage to your tires. They are compatible with ABS and ESP systems, as well as 4x4 vehicles, vans, and utility vehicles.

These chains are patented and conform to Önorm V 5121 GEPRÜFT and B26 standards, with DOT Washington Approval.

2. Safety Information

  • Always install snow chains on the drive wheels of your vehicle.
  • Do not exceed a maximum speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) when snow chains are installed.
  • Avoid sudden acceleration, braking, or sharp turns.
  • Remove snow chains immediately when driving on clear, snow-free roads for extended periods to prevent wear and damage to the chains and tires. The chains can be used on roads without snow for a distance of up to 50 km (31 miles) at a maximum speed of 40 km/h.
  • Ensure the chains are correctly tensioned after installation and re-check after driving a short distance (approx. 100 meters).

4. Installation Instructions

Installation of the Goodyear Snow & Road Textile Snow Chains is designed to be quick and easy, typically completed in 4 steps. It is recommended to practice installation before encountering adverse weather conditions.

After installation, drive slowly for a short distance (approximately 100 meters) to allow the chains to self-tension and settle. Then, stop and re-check their fit and tension before continuing your journey.

5. Operating Guidelines

  • Speed ​​​​Limit: Do not exceed 40 km/h (25 mph) when driving with the snow chains installed.
  • Road Conditions: These textile snow chains are designed for use on roads covered with snow and/or ice.
  • Dry Road Use: The chains can be driven on clear, snow-free roads for a maximum distance of 50 km (31 miles) at a speed not exceeding 40 km/h. Prolonged use on dry asphalt will significantly reduce their lifespan.
