4. Setup

  • Full Face Configuration: Chin bar and faceshield installed. Provides maximum protection.

  • 3/4 Open Face: Chin bar, faceshield, and peak removed. Offers an open-face riding experience.
  • Other combinations involve variations of these components.

5. Kushanda neNgowani

5.1 Visor Operation

  • Faceshield: The ultra-wide faceshield can be raised or lowered manually. Ensure it clicks into its fully closed position for optimal protection.
  • VPS Inner Sunscreen: Located inside the helmet, the inner sunscreen can be deployed or retracted using the slider mechanism on the left side of the helmet. Adjust it to your preferred position for sun protection.

5.2 Ventilation System

The helmet features an Air Booster airflow system for optimal ventilation:

  • Visor Air Intake Vent: Located on the chin bar, this vent can be opened or closed to direct airflow to the inner surface of the faceshield, reducing fogging.
  • Top Air Intake Vents: Located on the top of the helmet, these vents can be opened to allow air to circulate through the helmet's interior.
  • Rear Air Exhaust: Hot air is expelled through the rear exhaust vents, maintaining a comfortable internal temperature.

5.3 Retention System (Microlock2)

To fasten the helmet, insert the notched strap into the Microlock2 buckle until it clicks securely. To release, lift the red lever and pull the notched strap out. Always ensure the strap is snug under your chin, allowing only two fingers to fit comfortably between the strap and your chin.

6.1 Cleaning the Helmet

  • Outer Shell: Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Faceshield and Sunscreen: Shandisa nyoro, damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals, as they can damage the anti-fog or UV coatings. The Pinlock lens should be handled with extreme care and cleaned only with a soft, damp jira.
