4. Operating Instructions
This section provides instructions for using the various measurement functions of your VOLTCRAFT VC-523.
4.1 Kubatidza/Kudzima
Rotate the Function Dial from the "OFF" position to any desired measurement function to turn the meter ON. To turn the meter OFF, rotate the Function Dial back to the "OFF" position.

- During any measurement, press the BATA button to freeze the displayed reading. The "HOLD" indicator will appear on the LCD.
- Press the BATA button again to release the reading and return to live measurement.
4.12 Measurement Point Illumination
The VOLTCRAFT VC-523 features an integrated LED light to illuminate the measurement area, especially useful in dimly lit environments like electrical cabinets.
- Locate the button for the illumination LED (often integrated with another function or a dedicated button).
- Press the button to turn the LED ON.
- Press it again to turn the LED OFF.
