3. Setup
- Kuburitsa: Carefully remove the theodolite from its carrying case. Inspect for any visible damage.
- Kukwidza: Securely attach the theodolite to a stable tripod. Ensure the tripod legs are spread wide and firmly planted on the ground.
- Leveling: Use the circular bubble level and the plate levels to roughly level the instrument. Fine-tune leveling using the foot screws while observing the electronic level display (if available) or the plate levels.
- Power On: Press the SIMBA button to turn on the instrument.

4.1. Basic Angle Measurement
- Zero Setting: Point the telescope to the initial reference point. Press the 0 SET button to set the horizontal angle to 0°00'00".
