The KIBANI 4-stroke petrol brush cutter is designed for versatile trimming of grass, shrubs, reeds, and weeds. Its 4-stroke engine offers reduced vibration and noise compared to 2-stroke models, enhancing user comfort during operation. The machine allows for easy switching between a line head and a 3-tooth blade, making it suitable for various types of vegetation.

  • Always operate the machine with both hands, maintaining a firm grip on the handles.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during operation. This includes, but is not limited to, a safety helmet, eye protection (safety glasses or goggles), hearing protection, heavy-duty gloves, long trousers, and sturdy, non-slip footwear.
  • Use safety glasses or protective eyewear to prevent injury from flying debris.
  • Keep bystanders, children, and pets at a safe distance (at least 15 meters) from the operating area.
  • Inspect the work area before starting. Remove any objects that could be thrown or entangled in the cutting attachment, such as rocks, glass, wire, or plastic.

  • Ensure proper ventilation when refueling. Do not smoke while refueling.
  • Turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug cap before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or when clearing blockages.

  • Store the brush cutter in a dry, secure place, out of reach of children.

1. Assembly of the Shaft and Handles

Connect the two sections of the shaft if applicable, ensuring they are securely fastened. Attach the ergonomic handles to the shaft in a comfortable operating position. Tighten all bolts firmly.

2. Attaching the Guard and Cutting Attachment

Securely attach the protective guard to the lower shaft section. This guard is crucial for user safety against flying debris. Then, choose your desired cutting attachment (3-tooth blade or line head) and mount it according to the instructions provided with the attachment. Ensure it is tightly secured.

3. Fuel and Oil Filling

The KIBANI brush cutter features a 4-stroke engine, requiring separate fuel and oil. Use the provided funnel for clean filling.

  • Mafuta: Fill the fuel tank with approximately 700 ml of Euro 98 unleaded petrol. Do not use E10 fuel or mixed fuel.
  • Mafuta Enjini: Fill the separate oil reservoir with approximately 80 ml of suitable 4-stroke engine oil. Check the oil level before each use.

Ensure both caps are securely tightened after filling.

Operating Instruction

1. Kutanga Injini

  2. Ensure the engine stop switch is in the "ON" position.
  3. Engage the choke (if cold start).

  • Attach the shoulder strap for comfortable and balanced operation.

  • For Grass Trimming (Line Head): Move the line head in a sweeping motion. The cutting line can be extended by gently tapping the head on the ground while the engine is running at full throttle.
  • For Tougher Vegetation (3-Tooth Blade): Use a steady, controlled motion. Be aware of kickback when cutting thicker material. Always cut away from your body.
  • Avoid contact with hard objects, as this can damage the blade or line head.

3. Kumisa Injini

Release the throttle and move the engine stop switch to the "OFF" position.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your brush cutter. Always turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug cap before performing any maintenance.
