1. Navigating the OLED Display
The OLED display provides real-time information on battery status, frequency group/channel, and active settings. Use the 'SET' button to enter menu options and confirm selections. The 'Up' and 'Down' arrow buttons are used to navigate through menu items and adjust values. The 'Power' button turns the unit on/off and can also be used to exit menus.
2. Adjusting Input Level
To optimize audio quality and prevent distortion, adjust the input level of the transmitter to match your microphone's output. Access the input level setting through the menu on the OLED display. The reference input level is -20 dBV. Monitor the audio levels on your receiver to ensure proper gain staging.
3. Activating Low-Cut Filter
The AWS-2000P-B features a selectable 100 Hz low-cut filter. This filter helps to reduce unwanted low-frequency noise such as stage rumble, handling noise, or HVAC system hum. Activate or deactivate this feature via the transmitter's menu as needed for your recording environment.
